April meeting

At this time of year we have to take advantage of an unexpected free afternoon or a rainy day, if we want to quilt. The question to ponder and figure out is how do you find the time to quilt or sew?

Spring is coming. Can you feel it?  All around I see the early signs, snowdrops, even crocus peaking through and longer peaks of daylight stretch across early morning skies. Take time this spring season to Sew a little cheer every day.

Ruth and a friend has created some fun wonky houses. she is sharing with us those amazing patterns and as a added bonus she is providing us with the tree patterns with a completed block.

Our free tree pattern.

Ruth showed us her wonky house quilt what a fun quilt to make how is yours coming along. Will you be getting the free trees to add to your village

What you OTT to do? What projects have you been putting off and putting aside.

Lorri showed us what she accomplished this  past month as she worked on her Ott light list.

Denise headed up a fun Easter quilt for us to make row by row. This is her finished quilt. What a fun quilt to hang on your wall or lay on your bed. A touch of spring time and laughter any way it is displayed.

A touch of purple was given away to a friend facing cancer and treatments that go with it. A touch of purple to brighten up her day and give her a hug when she covers up. She also has a big to match to carry it in and a covered journal to write her thoughts in,

I made a dear friend an ironing bard cover to travel with or sit by her sewing machine.  We found her favorite themed fabric to use for the cover and it was a huge hit.
