March 2017

President’s Message:

Wow! March has really come in with some fast weather changes... You know what they about Utah, "Just wait an hour..." This month we're going to be making appliqué folk art birds, taught by "Yours truly"! 13 of you pre-ordered kits and I have them all ready to stitch onto your backgrounds. You'll want to bring a BSK, and a sewing machine if you prefer to sew your appliqué by machine. Otherwise a needle and thimble will go a long way! Don't forget to bring your "It's not easy being green" postcard or you'll be "green" with envy! Also, bring your first block and appliqué pieces for "Let's make a Diehl!" and your UFO's. And as always, we love to see your Show and Tell! I can't wait to see you all at Layton Quilt Guild! Be sure to come join the fun!!!
